Lime plastering and rendering has always been at the core of what we do.  From the early days of the ‘lime rival’ we have promoted the use and benefits of traditional mortars, plasters and renders over their modern alternatives.  The use of lime has come a long way since these early days and continues to evolve as we learn more about how these materials were historically used.

At Owlsworth we have a skilled core of lime practitioners who spend their working days applying their talents to a range of skills including for instance the repair and conservation of traditional lath and plaster, applying new external render schemes or repairing and reinstating decorative plasterworks.  We are equally at home working on a vernacular cottage as we are enjoying the challenges of a classical interior.
