Owlsworth Conservation has two joinery workshops. Dedicated largely to two related but differing activities, contemporary and traditional joinery and specialist timber repair projects.

Specialising in classic joinery using only the very best timber we have manufactured thousands of bespoke high quality joinery items, from staircases to mezzanine floors and everything in-between. Our work has been commissioned for delivery across the globe if you can think we can make it.

Our specialist timber repair workshop produces replacement building elements where there are no drawings to work to and proficiency levels need to be at their peak to produce high tolerance results. The high skill level of our team ensures we can keep as much of the original fabric as possible.

Knowledge and understanding of the original design and thus appropriate repairs is also important an important example of this being with timber frames which can be divided into four building types Box frame, Post and Truss, Aisled construction and Cruck. Each of these structure types will encompass differing jointing principles some of which depending upon the importance on the structure may need to be appropriately conserved and emulated.
